Happy Birthday Card With a Twist

This was another card in the June issue of Scrapbook News + Review. It was the featured technique (rather by accident - I just sent the card in on assignment not knowing she was looking for a technique to feature, lol!) and it's a really easy one.

The flower embellishments were made by taking the double-sided paper used for the card and curling thin strips around a wire hanger then looped in layers onto Glue Dots. The eyelet is not "set", but rather pressed into the top Glue Dot.

Supplies:
Patterned Paper - Her "Just a Girl" Chic Flower/Girly Green Paper from My Mind's Eye Signature Life Collection
Flowers - Crimson Blossoms from Imaginisce
Blank Greeting Card - DMD
Rubons - American Traditional Designs
Decorative Eyelet - Scrapworks
Chipboard Numbers - Provo Craft
Other - Glue Dots
